Boston College is searching for up to ten individuals, including human-resource specialists, business leaders, relevant non-governmental organisation leaders, and academics from Ireland and from Northern Ireland to engage with their American counterparts for the purpose of examining the development and promotion of female-friendly work environments. The programme, which has a deadline on 16 February 2012, will explore strategies to help working women achieve a balance between work and life, access continuing education, re-enter the work force, and take control of their financial futures.
The programme is sponsored by the Irish Institute at the Center for Irish Programs, Boston College, and the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Programme-related costs, including travel, accommodation and tuition, and the majority of meals, are provided. To apply visit this webpage.
