David Dunkley-Gyimah

Artist/Technologist in Residence (Video Journalism) PhD Candidate, The Outer-net


David is the recipient of International awards in video-journalism and media (broadcast/new media) design with more than 20 years’ experience in the media working for the BBC, Channel 4 News and ABC News in front and behind the camera. Described by Apple as “a one man hurricane”, he has lectured worldwide in media culture convergence. An applied chemistry graduate with a post-grad in journalism and further studies in International Relations at the LSE, David is interested in exploring new instances in evolving media, news and art and is an artist-in-residence at the South Bank. David is currently a senior lecturer at the University of Westminster, a director of the Broadcast Journalism Training Council, and was a juror for the prestigious RTS in 2009.
